Finding Help In Times of Need

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. 

You may have the idea that you are only to come to God in a time of great need or emergency.  Or you may feel that you are inadequate to approach Him yourself because you are unworthy.  The Centurion had this feeling, as seen in Luke 7:6-7.  He sent his friends to ask Jesus not to come to his home, but only speak the word and his servant would be healed. He demonstrated far more faith than the average Jew, but many need to overcome the other trait he showed, feeling unworthy. You can to come to Jesus anytime!  You're always welcome.

Everything God did for Jesus, He has to do for you, since God shows no partiality (Acts 10:34), because He honors divine faith.  Faith puts God between me and my problems.
